Govt to present federal budget for FY23 on June 10
The premier approves the summary
Islamabad: The federal government will present the annual budget for 2022-23 in the National Assembly on June 10.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has approved the summary to present the budget for the next financial year.
Following the approval of the prime minister, a notification has been issued to present the budget for the next financial year on June 10. According to the notification, the federal budget will be sent to the Senate on June 10.
In addition, a letter has been written by the finance secretary to the cabinet secretary asking him to convene a cabinet meeting on June 10 to approve the budget proposals.
