COAS Bajwa, Turkey's Defence minister discuss mutual security cooperation, regional security
The visiting dignitary lauds Pakistan’s contribution for regional security and connectivity
Rawalpindi: Minister of National Defense of the Republic of Turkey General (R) Hulusi Akar called on Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Saturday and discussed matters of mutual interest.
According to a news release issued by the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), he reaffirmed Turkey’s full support to Pakistan’s stance on regional and international issues.
During the meeting, matters of mutual interest including defense and security cooperation between both the countries and overall regional security situation came under discussion.
Both the dignitaries reiterated the desire to further enhance bilateral relations including efforts for bringing peace and stability in the region.
The visiting dignitary lauded Pakistan’s contribution for regional security and connectivity, the military's media affairs wing said.
