Islamabad: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb Wednesday rebuffed the reports of ‘consensus’ between government and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

On her official twitter handle, the minister made it clear that no agreement was reached between the federal government and the PTI—terming the media reports as “baseless reports”

“Absolutely not”

In the meantime, PTI chairman Imran Khan also refuted the rumors of agreement with government declaring the reports as ‘deliberate disinformation’.

He further stated that no deal has been made, adding that they are moving towards federal capital.

“We will remain in Islamabad till announcement of dates for dissolution of assemblies and elections are given,” he added, urging people of twin cities – Islamabad and Rawalpindi— to join him.

Earlier it was reported that the coalition government and opposition have reached a positive agreement, deciding to only hold a rally instead of a long march in Islamabad.

As per earlier reports, officials from both sides reached reasonable negotiations following a 2.5-hour long meeting.

PTI chairman Imran Khan is currently on his container and moving towards Islamabad from Swabi with a huge crowd of supporters and workers.
