Islamabad: Mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most plain areas of the country, while very hot in south Punjab and upper Sindh during the next 12 hours.
With hot weather prevailing to some areas, rain-wind/thunderstorm is likely in Gilgit Baltistan, Kashmir, upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad and northeast Punjab.
Temperature of some major cities recorded this morning:
Islamabad twenty-one degree centigrade, Lahore twenty-seven, Karachi twenty-nine, Peshawar twenty-three, Quetta seventeen, Gilgit nineteen, Murree fifteen and Muzaffarabad twenty degree centigrade.
According to Met office forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), partly cloudy weather with chances of rain wind-thunderstorm is expected in Jammu, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, Baramula, Srinagar, Leh and Baramulla.
Temperature recorded this morning:
Srinagar and Anantnag fourteen degree centigrade, Jammu twenty-four, Leh five, Pulwama, Shopian and Baramulla thirteen degree centigrade.
