Dua’s husband was also taken into protective custody
Lahore: Karachi Police in a major operation along with Punjab Police have recovered "missing girl" Dua Zehra from Bahawalnagar.
According to details, Police rescued Dua Zehra while her husband and the facilitator who provided them accommodation were arrested.
Police officials confirmed that the couple was taken into their protective custody.
According to SSP Zubair Sheikh, the husband and wife were recovered from Chishtian in Bahawalnagar after conducting several raids.
He further said that the police also arrested a 'facilitator' during the raid and handed him over to the Lahore police.
The anti-violent crime cell of Karachi police with the help of Punjab police conducted the raid.
Dua Zehra will be presented before High Court on Monday.
