Gold price rises Rs2,800 to settle at Rs142,000 per tola
The increase in prices of yellow metal followed surge in global prices
Karachi: The gold rates on Monday recorded a considerable increase of Rs2,800 per tola to settle at Rs142,000 in the bullion markets of the country.
According to Sindh Sirafa Bazaar Jewellers Association, the price of per 10 grams gold also jumped to Rs121,742 after Rs2,400 increase.
Gold per ounce was traded at 1,853.90 with $2.60 increase in the international market.
The precious commodity closed at Rs139,200 per tola and Rs119,342 per 10 grams on Saturday.
