Lahore: A man lost his life after a fire broke out in Rehman Plaza adjacent to Lahore Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Office near Faisal Chowk on Tuesday.
Rescue teams reached the spot of incident after getting information and carried out rescue operations.
According to details, the man—identified as Waheed—was rushed to the hospital after being rescued from the blazing building, but succumbed to his injuries in hospital.
The rescue official stated that the fire was put out and 23 people inside it have been evacuated safely.
The cause of blaze is yet to be ascertained.
Due to the severity of the fire, rescue teams and firefighters faced difficulties to contain the blaze.
