Federal cabinet approves increase in public employees' salaries, pensions

Islamabad: Federal cabinet meeting on Friday has approved an increase in the salaries and pension of government employees.

According to details, the approval was given in the key meeting of the federal cabinet, during which approval was given to present the Budget 2022-23 in the Parliament.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif chaired the meeting at the Prime Minister's office.

According to details, the cabinet approves a 15 percent increase in salaries of the government employees, however, a 5 percent increase in pension was approved.
