The teaser shows the duo in colourful get-ups and having a fun time with each other.
The two singers previously collaborated for a special performance of Charlie’s hit song ‘We Don’t Talk Anymore’ at the MBC Plus X Genie Music Awards in Korea back in 2018.
Fans, collectively known as the “ARMY”, are anticipating this new single as the start of BTS’s new chapter, mentioned earlier by the septet in Festa dinner, according to which all seven members will now be focusing more on their solo projects.
Meanwhile, the song is currently charting inside the Top 5 of the Billboard Hot Trending Songs 24h chart. It had more than 141K mentions on Twitter.
The excitement among fans is on another level and that is reflected on the chart.
Post announcing the collaboration, Puth also revealed a short snippet of the upcoming song on TikTok, declaring that if the song racked up 500,000 pre-saves, it would be released on June 24.
Needless to say, ARMYs are pretty excited as the buzz of this collaboration was there for a long time.
