PML-N officials say the two leaders had resigned to run in the by-elections

Islamabad/Lahore: Federal Minister for Economic Affairs Sardar Ayaz Sadiq and Punjab Health Minister Khawaja Salman Rafique have resigned from their posts.
PML-N's Ayaz Sadiq sent his resignation to Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, declaring the reasons for his resignation as personal.
PML-N's Khawaja Salman Rafique also tendered his resignation to Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shahbaz, who accepted his resignation and sent it to the Governor of Punjab.
PML-N officials said the two leaders had resigned to run in the by-elections.
