Lahore: Heavy rain accompanied by strong winds lashed different parts of country on Thursday and turned the weather pleasant.
According to details, rain in different parts of country on Thursday morning turned the weather pleasant, providing much-needed relief from the hot and humid weather conditions for the people.
In Lahore, heavy rain was reported on Canal Road, Mall Road, Iqbal Town, Muslim Town, Ferozpur Road and other localities.
Strong winds also caused power outages at several places in different parts of the city.
In Karachi, the rain expected in areas around Shahra-e-Faisal, Rashid Minhas Road, Quaidabad, Malir, Bin Qasim, Landhi, Korangi and other localities.
Jhelum, Chakwal, Gujranwala, Attockand and surrounding areas received a fresh spell of rain with strong winds. Furthermore, other cities of Punjab.
According to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), more rains are expected in the country during next 24 hours.
