Boulder: Following a tragic incident, ten people including a police officer were killed, after a gunman opened fire at King Soopers grocery store in Boulder, Colorado.

The district attorney for Boulder County Michael Dougherty stated that the shooter is being held in custody and further investigation is underway.
A live streamed video showed a white middle-aged man who is shirtless, seemingly covered in blood detained by police.
“The weapon used in the shooting was an AR-15-style rifle,” a senior official said.
The mass shooting caused at least ten causalities including a police officer identified as Eric Talley, 51 and had been with the force since 2010.
Rescue teams and dozens of armored vehicles, ambulances and armed personnel including FBI agents and SWAT teams reached the spot after getting information and shifted the deceased to a nearby hospital for autopsy.
Eye witnesses described a chaotic scene as several loud shots went off in the store.
Colorado has previously suffered two of the most mass shootings in US history, as In 1999, two teenage boys shot 12 classmates and a teacher dead at Columbine High School. After which they committed suicide.
Then in 2012, an armed man stormed a movie theater in Colorado and murdered 12.
However, the gunman is now serving a life sentence.
