Jerusalem: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is predicted to fall short of securing majority seats needed to form a new government in country’s fourth election in two years.

According to details, Netanyahu's Likud party and its allies are projected to secure around 52 or 53 seats in the elections, whereas the opposition parties look set to win 60 seats.
There are a total of 120-seats in elections.
It is being said that even with the support of nationalist Yamina party, Netanyahu would not have a majority.
The vote-count is expected to be completed by Wednesday afternoon due to coronavirus-related restrictions.
Netanyahu has been in power for the last twelve years, having served an earlier three-year term in the late 1990s.
His opponents argue that he should not that he should not remain while standing trial on corruption charges.
