Veteran actor Rasik Dave passes away due to kidney failure
The actor was suffering from kidney ailments for the past four years
Mumbai: Veteran actor Rasik Dave passed away after a prolonged illness. He was 65.
According to details, the talented artist passed away due to kidney failure. Dave was suffering from kidney ailments for the past four years. He was on dialysis.
Rasik was married to actress Ketki Dave, who is known for her role of Daksha Virani in the TV show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi
Rasik Dave is survived by his wife Ketki and two children, Riddhi Dave and Abhishek Dave. He ran a Gujarati theatre company along with his wife.
Rasik began his acting career in 1982 with the Gujarati film Putra Vadhu. He did several theater shows as well and played the role of Nanda in the mythological TV drama Mahabharata.
Rasik also featured in several TV shows and films such as Byomkesh Bakshi (1993), CID, Mahabharat and EK Mahal Ho Sapno Ka among others.
He also participated in the dance reality show Nach Baliye with his wife Ketki in 2006.
