Karachi: Head of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) Maulana Fazlur Rehman held a telephonic conversation with former president Asif Ali Zardari in which both leaders agreed to mutually resolve issues.

According to details, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) Chief discussed political matters with Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Co-Chairperson and said that all opposition parties should respect the mutual decision of PDM.
“As per the decision, the opposition leader's seat in the Senate belongs to Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N). It is hoped that the PPP will respect the decisions of PDM.
Maulana also expressed disappointment over PML-N and PPP leaders for giving statements against each other and advised them to abstain from doing immature politics.
“We had decided that no one will issue any controversial statement before April 04. PPP had sought time over the issues of long march and resignations, and PDM is waiting for its response,” the head of PDM said.
It is to be noted that at the PDM meeting, differences arose between PPP and other PDM parties over the issue of resignations and long march. Following the meeting, Maulana Fazlur Rehman announced the postponement of long march, which was earlier scheduled on March 26, and left the presser abruptly without saying any other thing.
