Unidentified assailants opened fire on MPA Malik Liaqat Ali Khan

Lower Dir: At least six people were killed and four others including PTI MPA Malik Liaqat Ali Khan, sustained injuries after undientified people opened fire on their vehicle Lower Dir on Saturday night.
PTI's member of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Malik Liaqat Ali Khan was critically wounded, while six people lost their lives after unidentified men attacked him.

The police said the MPA was on his way to his village Nagotal in Lower Dir District, when he was attacked by armed assailants.
The PTI MPA is being shifted to Peshawar due to his critical condition.

According to the police, a Levies Force official identified as Badshah and a policeman named as Naseer were martyred, and three more people were injured due to the firing.
The injured were shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital Timergara, said the police.
The victims who were killed during the firing include Khan's brother Jhaan Alam and his nephew Yasir.
KP Chief Minister Mahmood Ahmad took notice of the incident, sought report from the provincial police chief and ordered immediate arrest of the suspects.
