In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the first phase of a two-week long anti-polio drive kicked off this morning.
Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah inaugurated a week-long polio eradication campaign by administering vaccine drops to children in Karachi on Monday.
The campaign will continue till 21st of this month in Karachi and Hyderabad divisions while it will commence in other parts of the province next Monday.
Talking to media persons on the occasion, Syed Murad Ali Shah appealed the parents to cooperate with polio teams to save the children from disability.

During the first phase, the five-day anti-polio campaign will be run in six southern districts including Bannu, Lakki Marwat, Dera Ismail Khan, Tank, South and North Waziristan.
The second phase of the campaign will begin in rest of the districts from next Monday.
