Maryam Nawaz tests negative for COVID

Lahore: Pakistani Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) vice president Maryam Nawaz has tested negative for the novel coronavirus however doctors have advised her to take complete bed-rest unless she feels completely well.

According to the party spokesperson, PML-N leader has halted her political activities unless she fully recovers from illness. PML-N spokesperson Maryam Aurangzeb said that Maryam Nawaz has a high fever and a sore throat.

The League spokesperson further said that the doctors have advised Maryam Nawaz to rest however she went to the Lahore High Court despite her ill health.

Punjab Assembly member Hina Pervaiz Butt also Tweeted, “Thank God that Maryam Bibi's COVD test came negative, maybe some other infection has disturbed her health which is also being treated, many prayers for their speedy recovery.”

Confirming in another tweet, Hina Pervaiz Butt said that Maryam Nawaz has cancelled all her political activities due to sickness. I pray for her speedy recovery. May Allah heal her as soon as possible. Amen.

It is to be noted that PDM chief Fazlur Rehman is also unwell. According to JUI spokesperson, Maulana Fazlur Rehman has been suffering from fever for two days while Maulana's corona test also came negative.
