Rain turns weather pleasant in Lahore

Lahore: Rain in different parts of Lahore on Saturday morning turned the weather pleasant and brought much-needed respite to the residents suffering from the scorching heat wave.

According to details, the weather has become pleasant due to heavy rains in and around the areas in Lahore. However, rainwater has also gathered on the streets and major roads.

Rains lashed parts of provincial metropolis Lahore including Township, Iqbal Town, Kalma Chowk, Garden Town, Gulberg, Canal Road, Green Town, Chungi Amar Sadhu, Muslim Town, Ichra, Dharampura and other areas.

On the other hand, the dry weather will likely to prevail in most plain parts of the country during the next twelve hours.

The weather office also forecast rain wind/thunderstorm in northeast Punjab, pothohar region, Kashmir and Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit Baltistan today.
