Another plane carrying relief goods from Saudi Arabia has also landed in Karachi


Karachi: Two flights carrying tonnes of relief goods for flood-ravaged people have arrived in Pakistan from Saudi Arabia and Italy.
The first plane carrying relief goods from Italy landed in Karachi and was received by an adviser to Chief Minister Sindh on Relief and Rehabilitation Rasool Bakhsh Chandio.
The relief flight was also welcomed by the Italian Consul General, Director General Foreign Ministry, Pakistan forces, and representatives of the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA).
Similarly, another plane carrying relief goods from Saudi Arabia has also landed in Karachi in continuation of humanitarian assistance from the brotherly country.
It is pertinent to mention that Saudi Arabia has so far sent seven relief planes to Pakistan.
A spokesperson of Pakistan's foreign office said in a statement that they were thankful to both countries for extending their support in the form of humanitarian assistance and showing solidarity towards Pakistan in such testing times.
