Pakistan's first-class cricketer Shahzad Azam dies of cardiac arrest

Rawalpindi: Pakistani first-class cricketer Shahzad Azam Rana passed away at the age of 36 due to a heart attack.

Shahzad Azam Rana played 95 First Class, 58 List A, and 29 T20 matches. He took 388 wickets in first-class cricket, 81 in List A, and 27 wickets in T20 cricket. He played for Islamabad in the Pakistan Super League.

Former Pakistan fast bowler Umar Gul has expressed grief and sorrow over the death of Shahzad Azam Rana.

Umar Gul wrote on his social media account that as soon as he reached Australia, he came to know about the death of Shahzad Azam Rana, he was a very good person.

Former all-rounder Muhammad Hafeez also expressed grief and sorrow over the death of Shahzad Azam and said that Sad and shocked to know about the demise of Shehzad Rana. He was a very talented and hardworking fast bowler. May Allah bless him Jannah. Condolences to his family and friends. Life is very unpredictable.
