The court directed PM to appoint a representative on his behalf
Lahore: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif got a big relief as an accountability court on Tuesday granted a permanent exemption from the court appearance to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in the money laundering case.
According to details, Accountability Court Judge Qamaruz Zaman heard the money laundering case today.
Judge Qamar us Zaman approved the plea of the prime minister and ordered him to appoint a representative to appear in the court on his behalf.
The court also granted a one-day exemption to his son and Leader of the Opposition in the Punjab Assembly Hamza Shahbaz.
The court sought a reply from the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Hamza Shehbaz’s petition for permanent exemption from court appearance.
