Swat: The district administration of Swat with the support of Water and Sanitation Service Company (WSSC) has launched a clean streets campaign launched on Wednesday.

According to details, the campaign kicked off by people cleaning the streets and stream of Mingora City and Saidu Sharif.
Present on occasion, Commissioner of Malakand Mr. Zahirul Islam and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Water and Sanitation Service Company-Swat reminded people that Islam has put great emphasis on cleanliness and purity.
"Cleanliness is termed an indispensable fundamental of faith and its significance cannot be overlooked by any society,” the commissioner said.
A walk was held from the Regional Forest Office to Commissioner Office in order to create awareness among public.
The purpose of campaign is to ask individuals, community groups, schools and businesses to take collective responsibility for keeping the streets clean and tidy.
