Polling that started at 8am continued till 5 pm without any break across the country

The counting of votes in connection with the by-elections on eight seats of the National Assembly and three seats of the Punjab Assembly is in process.
Polling started at 8am and continued till 5pm without any break. According to the Election Commission of Pakistan, as many 15 complaints of violence have been received during the polling.
According to unconfirmed and unofficial results, PTI is in lead in multiple constituencies, and has won NA-31 Peshawar-V. However, PPP has clinched NA-157 Multan-IV, where Ali Musa Gilani, son of former prime minister Senator Yousuf Raza Gilani, has beaten Meher Bano Qureshi, daughter of PPP leader and former foreign minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi.
PTI Chairman Imran Khan, who is contesting by-elections from six NA constituencies, has appeared to be a strong candidate against his rival candidates.
National Assembly
NA-22 Mardan
According to the unconfirmed results of 69 polling stations in Mardan, PTI's Imran Khan is ahead with 13,712 votes, while JUI's Muhammad Qasim is second with 13,233 votes.
NA-24 Charsadda
According to the unofficial and inconclusive results received from 19 polling stations of NA-24 Charsadda, PTI's Imran Khan is leading with 2,968 votes while PDM's Amil Wali Khan is second with 2,254 votes.
NA-31 Peshawar
The incomplete and unofficial results of 70 polling stations of Peshawar have been received in which according to which PTI's Imran Khan is leading with 37,888 votes, while ANP's Ghulam Ahmad Bilor is second with 20,849 votes.
NA-108 Faisalabad
Inconclusive results of 27 polling stations of NA-108 Faisalabad have been received, according to which Imran Khan is leading with 22, 882 votes while PML-N's Abid Sher Ali has secured 16,567 votes.
NA-118 Nankana Sahib
As per inconclusive results of three polling stations of NA-118 Nankana Sahib Imran Khan has won first place with 336 votes, while TLP candidate Syed Afzal Hussain Rizvi has 295 votes.
NA-157 Multan
Accoridng to unofficial and inconclusive results of nine polling stations of Multan, PPP's Ali Musa Gilani is taking lead with 1,767 votes, while PTI's Mehrabano Qureshi is second with 1,376 votes.
NA-237 Malir Karachi
Unofficial, inconclusive results of 27 polling stations of NA-237 Malir Karachi have been received, according to which Imran Khan is leading with 2,546 votes, while Abdul Hakeem Baloch of People's Party is second with 1,481 votes.
NA-239 Korangi Karachi
As per inconclusive results received from three polling stations of NA-239, Imran Khan is leading with 309 votes, while MQM-P's Syed Nayar Raza is second with 63 votes.
Punjab Assembly
PP-139 Sheikhupura
As per unconfirmed results of 26 polling stations, PML-N's Haji Iftikhar Ahmed Bhangu is taking lead with 4,964 votes, while PTI's Abubakar Sharqpuri is on the second position with 4,663 votes.
PP-209 Khanewal
Inconclusive and unofficial results of 18 polling stations have revealed that PTI's Faisal Akram Khan Niazi is taking lead with 6,438 votes over PML-N's Chaudhry Ziaur Rahman who has secured 4,657 votes.
PP-241 Bahawalnagar
The results of 22 polling stations of PP 241 Bahawalnagar show that PTI's Muzaffar Khan is ahead with 7,076 votes, while PML-N's Amanullah Sattar is behind with 6,107 votes.
