NA-157 Multan-IV unofficial results: PPP's Ali Gilani defeats PTI's Meharbano Qureshi

Multan: PPP's Ali Musa Gilani, son of party's leader and former prime minister Yousuf Raza Gilani, has won the NA-157 Multan-IV by-election with 79,743 votes, unofficial and unconfirmed results suggest.

He beat Meharbano Qureshi, who is daughter of PTI leader and former foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi. Qureshi bagged 59,993 votes.

Four people were injured in firing between two groups outside the polling station established in Fatima Jinnah Colony in NA-157 Multan.

According to the police, the injured have been transferred to Nishtar Hospital. Police arrested two people.
