FM Bilawal, US envoy Blome agree to boost trade relations
The foreign minister appreciated the US support in post-flood recovery and rehabilitation
Islamabad: Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari and the United States Ambassador to Pakistan Donald Blome agreed on promoting trade ties between Pakistan and the US.
In a meeting held at the Foreign Office, Bilawal and Ambassador Blome discussed the issues about the rehabilitation of the population affected by the catastrophic floods across Pakistan.
The foreign minister, in the meeting, thanked the US Ambassador for ensuring the provision of aid and assistance to the affectees.
The two dignitaries also spoke about advancing mutual relations during their discussion in the foreign office.
Taking to Twitter, the foreign minister said during the meeting he appreciated the US support in post-flood recovery and rehabilitation, reiterated greater investment in green energy and reaffirmed widening bilateral ties and discussed regional and global matters.
