Angry octopus beats up man on beach in Australia
A geologist Lance Karlson was beaten by an ‘angriest octopus’ when he and his family were about to take a dip near the resort they were staying at an Australian beach.
According to details, the octopus whipped Lance Karlson from shallow waters while swimming on holiday at a Western Australian beach.
In a viral video, the creature can be seen in waters chasing the geologist Lance Karlson.
The octopus followed Karlson and later struck him on the arm, before whipping his neck and upper back.
The beating left deep red welts on his skin, which Karlson said were soothed after he poured cola over them.
“Although my preferred mode of treatment when bitten by sea creatures is vinegar, but I did not have any on him at the time. I knew anything acidic may help so I decided to try using cola and it worked out for me,” he said.
The geologist said he spotted the tail of octopus first and confirmed it only when he walked closer with his two-year-old daughter. He was filming a video of it when it suddenly moved into their direction.
Later, when he went into the water alone, the octopus found him again and lashed out at him.
