Islamabad: On the directions of Shehbaz Sharif, a project has been launched today to connect different sectors of Islamabad via 13 feeder routes with the metro bus system.


The first phase of the feeder routes bus network comprising 13 routes and 128 buses will be completed in the first quarter of year 2023.
The feeder routes will connect the commuters from various sectors of Islamabad to central metro bus stations, from where they can transfer to other routes.
In the first phase, sectors F, G and I as well as D-12 will be linked to the central metro network through buses.
These feeder routes will provide comfortable and international standard travel facilities to about 100,000 passengers.
The Prime Minister Office has mentioned that Shahbaz Sharif has directed to complete the project on priority basis.
