Pakistan win toss, opt to field against South Africa in first ODI
Centurion: Pakistan on Friday won the toss and opted to field first in the first One Day International (ODI) of three match series against South Africa.
The match will start at 1pm at SuperSport Park, Centurion.
Pakistan has played only five ODIs since 2019 World Cup and this series will be an opportunity for green shirts to showcase their capacity in the ODI format.
The national squad left for South Africa last week through a chartered flight to play three One-Day Internationals and four Twenty20 Internationals.
Earlier in March, Pakistan won both the Test and T20I series against South Africa.
Meanwhile, captain and skipper Babar Azam has reiterated that Pakistan will play ‘fearless’ cricket in the upcoming three-match ODI series against South Africa.
