Nawaz Sharif issued diplomatic passport: sources
The PML-N supremo has been staying in London since November 2019
Islamabad: PML-N supermo and former prime minister Nawaz Sharif has been issued a diplomatic passport, party sources told GNN on Thursday.
Nawaz Sharif's family had confirmed that the former prime minister has received the diplomatic passport.
On Wednesday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif called on his elder Nawaz Sharif in London. The meeting lasted for three and hald hours.
Maryam Nawaz, Khawaja Asif, Malik Ahmed Khan, Suleman Shahbaz and Hussain Nawaz were also present in the meeting.
This was the second meeting of Prime Minister Shehbaz with Nawaz in London in two days.
Sources said the PTI's long march, appointment of new army chief and other issues were were discussed in detail.
