The seized hashish was worth at least Rs200 million in the international market


Quetta: Customs officials on Friday seized 200 kilograms of high-quality drugs from a vehicle in the Jalogir camp.
According to details, the officials recovered the drug during a raid on the camp, after being tipped-off.
The customs spokesperson said: “We conducted a search during the raid and found one of the vehicles at the camp to be suspicious”.
The officers checked the vehicle and during inspection they found out an immense quantity of high-quality hashish stored in the boxes.
The vehicle’s driver left his car behind and escaped into the night.
The officials stated that the seized hashish was worth at least Rs200 million in the international market.
They added: “The drugs were being smuggled in Pakistan near the Pakistan-Afghanistan border area, which were to be sold later in different parts of the country and even smuggled abroad”.
