The summary had suggested the names of Najam Sethi and Shakil Sheikh as new governing board members of PCB.

Islamabad: The Ministry of Inter-Provincial Coordination (IPC) has sent the summary to Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif to remove Ramiz Raja as the chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
The summary had suggested the names of Najam Sethi and Shakil Sheikh as new governing board members of PCB instead of Asad Ali Khan and Ramiz Raja.
Tuesday evening, Najam sethi was seen sitting with IPC’s high authorities at their office to prepare the summary.
Najam’s recent meeting with Shehbaz Sharif in Lahore further strengthened the rumors that he was soon going to be the new chairman of cricket board.
Reports quoting sources stated that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has appointed Najam Sethi as PCB's new chief.
In 2013, the 74-year-old Sethi served as chairperson of PCB but could not continue owing to legal clash with Chaudhry Muhammad Zaka Ashraf—former chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board. He got into the position again in 2014 but was given charge of the powerful executive committee and Shahryar Khan performed the duties as chairman.
It is pertinent to mention that Ramiz was appointed as PCB Chairman in September 2021 by replacing Ehsan Mani as per the direction of former Prime Minister Imran Khan. He continued to serve at the position even after the fall of Imran’s government.
