Pak vs NZ: Babar to meet Afridi to decide playing XI

Karachi: Pakistan cricket team captain Babar Azam Sunday said that the squad for first Test Match against New Zealand will be finalized after discussion with newly-appointed interim chief selector Shahid Afridi, during a press conference.
Briefing about the pitch of Karachi stadium he stated: “The pitch looks good, similar to the one in Australia as the pitch behavior here in Karachi changes everyday”.
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) interim selection committee had added Shahnawaz Dahani and Mir Hamza as pacers whereas Sajid Khan as off-spinner in the Pakistan Test squad on Saturday for the two-match series against New Zealand.
While speaking about the three additional players, Babar stated that they had a discussion over it, he gave his opinion, while they did what best suits them.
Speaking about losing four Test matches in a row, he also added, “I admit that we did not play good cricket at times, there were some strategies that should had been executed in a better way,” he also backed his players to make a strong comeback.
He concluded, “I feel no pressure, because pressure affects your game. I am a confident captain and also confident about my players, we will try to make the best comeback as it is a new day and a new team”.
