Imran to meet PTI senior leadership to discuss NA resignations today
The speaker stated that there will be no meeting with the group for resignations
Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan Thursday called a meeting of the senior leadership of the party for consultations on resignations from the National Assembly, vote of confidence in Punjab and dissolution of the assemblies.
According to the details, the meeting will be held under the leadership of Imran Khan at his residence in Zaman Park Lahore.
On the other hand, the PTI delegation had a meeting with Speaker of the National Assembly Raja Pervez Ashraf today on the issue of acceptance of resignations.
The delegation included former speaker Asad Qaiser, senior PTI leaders Qasim Suri, Amjad Niazi, Amir Dogar, and Faheem Khan.
The speaker stated that there will be no meeting with the group for resignations, each member will have to come individually to resign.
However, some members requested him not to accept the resignations but he did not reveal their names.
