Shehbaz Sharif paid tribute to the soldiers who sacrificed their lives in recent terror attacks.


Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir Thursday discussed the current security situation in the country while having a meeting at Prime Minister House in Islamabad.
Shehbaz Sharif paid tribute to the soldiers who sacrificed their lives in recent terror attacks.
It was also decided to have a meeting with National Security Council (NSC) today to explore the strategies to deal with the new wave of terrorism.
The meeting will be chaired by Prime Minister in the presence of military brass, representative of security apparatus and federal ministers.
The security representatives will discuss the current security situation at Pak-Afghan border.
Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar will shed light on Pakistan’s current economic situation.
The implementation of the National Action Plan (NAP) would also be discussed.
