PM Shehbaz chairs NSC meeting
Prime Minister had summoned the meeting to discuss current security situation in the country.
Islamabad: The National Security Committee (NSC) meeting Friday is proceeding under the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif.
Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah, Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and military chiefs have graced the meeting at Prime Minister House in Islamabad.
Prime Minister had summoned the meeting to discuss current security situation in the country.
Reportedly, Director General Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Lt Gen Nadeem Anjum will brief the attendees on the recent terrorism incidents in Pakistan and security situation at Pak-Afghan border.
Yesterday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir discussed the current security situation in the country while having a meeting at Prime Minister House in Islamabad.
