Policeman martyred in attack on Lakki Marwat checkpost

Lakki Marwat: A police officer Sunday was martyred when Shahbaz Khail check-post got attacked by unidentified terrorists in Lakki Marwat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to a police spokesperson, the terrorists attacked the check-post with sophisticated weapons. The attack was retaliated by the constables deployed at the check-post.

One of the officers identified as Tehseen Ullah embraced martyrdom, while a terrorist got killed, during the crossfire.

The funeral prayer of the martyred cop was offered at 10am.

Previously, the police check-posts had been attacked many times in Lakki Marwat.
