Peshawar: An earthquake of magnitude 5.2 Sunday jolted parts of the Khyber Paktunkhwa.
The trembles were felt in Charsadda, Mingora, Nowshera and Swat.
According to the National Seismic Monitoring Centre Islamabad, the depth of the quake was 179km in Hindu Kush mountainous region.
People came out of their homes in panic and started reciting verses from the Holy Quran. No loss of life and property was reported as yet from any part of the province due to earthquake.
