The accident took place due to over speeding.


Kohat: In an unfortunate incident today, eight people were killed including women and children while several sustained the injuries in horrific van and truck crash at Indus highway near Kohat.
According to details, police and rescue officials reached the site soon after getting the information and shifted the deceased and injured to Civil Hospital.
Rescue officials stated that the five injured people are in extremely serious condition.
The crash between the vehicles was so severe that the bodies were pulled out by cutting the vehicle.
The identities of the deceased and injured are yet to be ascertained. The accident took place due to over speeding.
Police, however, cordoned off the area to investigate the incident.
