Fawad Chaudhry said that we will dissolve the KP Assembly in the same way, elections are going to be held in both the provinces.


Lahore: Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Parvez Elahi Thursday signed the summary of dissolution of the Punjab assembly.
According to the details, an important meeting was held in Lahore under the chairmanship of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, in which the central leadership gave the opinion to immediately dissolve the assembly.
After the meeting, Chief Minister Punjab had a meeting with Imran Khan in which the final decision was taken to dissolve the assembly.
Talking to the media, Fawad Chaudhry said that the Chief Minister has signed the summary to dissolve the Punjab Assembly. The advice of dissolution of the Punjab Assembly has been sent to the Governor of Punjab, if Governor Baligh-ur-Rehman does not follow, the Assembly itself will be dissolved in 48 hours.
Fawad Chaudhry added that we are thankful to Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q), Pervez Elahi and Monis Elahi, stating that we are going to write a letter to the opposition leader Hamza Shehbaz Sharif for the formation of caretaker government.
He said that we will dissolve the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly in the same way, elections are going to be held in both the provinces.
Fawad Chaudhry further said that the federal government should come out of its sphere, the speaker is also being told to accept our resignation.
Hours after the announcement, the governor turned to Twitter and shared the image of the summary with caption "just received" the letter.

Speaking to a private news channel, Rehman said it is not an easy decision to dissolve the assembly, he would take the decision with ‘heavy heart’.
“Punjab Assembly is the home of public representatives. Implementing the advice of the Punjab Chief Minister would be an unpleasant moment," the governor added.
