Nawaz, Zardari, Fazl hold emergency talks after CM Punjab signs to dissolve PA
PTI had decided to send the summary of dissolution of KP Assembly to the Governor on Saturday.
Lahore: The leaders of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) including the leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Nawaz Sharif, former president Asif Ali Zardari and Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman had an important telephonic conversation on Thursday after Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi signed the summary to dissolve Punjab Assembly.
According to the details, the future strategy in view of the changing political situation after the announcement of the dissolution of the Punjab government was discussed between the three leaders.
They exchanged views on the emerging scenario in Punjab and then Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
It is pertinent to note that Parvez Elahi signed the summary of dissolution of the Punjab Assembly and sent the summary to the governor Punjab Baligh-ur-Rehman.
Speaking to the media, senior leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Fawad Chaudhry said that Chaudhry Pervez Elahi had signed the summary of dissolution of the Punjab Assembly which had been sent to the Governor. If he does not accept, it will dissolve automatically in 48 hours.
On the other hand, Imran Khan had called a meeting of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa leadership today (Friday). Reportedly, PTI had decided to send the summary of dissolution of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly to the Governor on Saturday.
