The ECP, after National Assembly Speaker Raja Pervaiz Ashraf accepted the resignation of 35 members of the lower house of the parliament, has issued a notification of de-notification.


ISLAMABAD: As many as 35 members of the National Assembly belonging to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) de-notified by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Tuesday.
The ECP also issued notification regarding the PTI’s 35 MNAs.
The development took place after National Assembly Speaker Raja Pervaiz Ashraf accepted the resignations of 35 members of the lower house of parliament.
“Consequent upon the acceptance of resignations by the Hon'ble Speaker, National Assembly of Pakistan and in pursuance of the Notification No F.21 (4)/2022- lagis dated 17th January, 2023 of National Assembly of Pakistan, the Election Commission of Pakistan hereby de-notifies the following Members of National Assembly of Pakistan with immediate effect,” read the notification issued by the election authority.
