The PTI Chief who has finalized two names for the caretaker Punjab setup has emphasized upon holding fair and transparent elections in the country.


Lahore: PTI Chairman and former Prime Minister Imran Khan said on Thursday it would be a ‘stupid idea’ to allow the present coalition -government in the center to do more ‘wrongdoings’.
Imran Khan while continuing to underscore the significance of elections emphasized upon holding fair and transparent elections in the country.
He expressed these words while chairing a meeting to deliberate the names for the caretaker Punjab Chief Minister. The members of the PTI’s parliamentary committee held meeting with Imran Khan and discussed the issue of establishment of Punjab caretaker government, during which senior leader Fawad Chaudhry was also present
The PTI leadership finalized the names of Ahmed Nawaz Sukhera, Naveed Cheema, and Naseer Khan while Imran Khan agreed to send two names to the parliamentary committee after final consultation.
Speaking on this occasion, Imran Khan recalled that the country cannot afford to delay the elections, adding that endangering the transparency of the elections in a very sensitive country was tantamount to enmity against the nation.
The PTI Chief while taking about the role of the caretaker government stated the government with the best reputation and ability was best suited for the job.
He expressed confidence in the PTI nominees for the caretaker setup, saying that the personalities nominated by the PTI had good ability and reputation.
