Playwright Qamar still feels heartbroken over Mahira Khan’s tweet
The writer says that he never hated Mahira Khan but her tweet still haunts him and he started hating, vowing that he one day, God willing, he will forgive Mahira’s this act.

Lahore: Renowned writer playwright Khalilur Rehman Qamar on Saturday said that Mahira Khan’s tweet was still heartbreaking and severe for him.
He said that the actress’ tweet was still hurting because he and Mahira Khan had a relationship of respect. He said Mahira is a good actress and he could not understand her tweet but it was clear to him.
Qamar made these remarks during a recent podcast interview.
“Yes, now, God willing, one day Mahira Khan's words will be forgiven, but right now, Mahira Khan's words are heartbreaking and severe,”.
It may be mentinoed here that Mahira Khan tweeted while targetting the writer back in 2020, questioning that why he was given project after project despite that he abused a woman live on TV. She called it 'disgusting' and 'sick to the core'.
Qamar in his interview was of the view that at least Mahira Khan had the right to call him and ask why he did do so and he would have told her. But, he said, she instead of using that right used a high-handed tactic, which was still painful.
“I never hated Mahira but later it happened and I started hating her such a good and decent actress.
