Student mocked for speaking Urdu in school
The father alleged that other students were also encouraged to criticize the kid.
Karachi: A student was allegedly humiliated by painting his face black owing to speaking Urdu in a private school in North Nazimabad, Karachi.
The video of the incident was circulating on social media made by the father of the child in which he narrated the details.
The father alleged that his son was being insulted for speaking in his national language and he was being punished by applying black ink on his face.
He also alleged that other students were also encouraged to criticize the kid.
The man claimed to have taken up the issue with school management who refused to take action on the incident.
Meanwhile, the Directorate of Private Schools took notice of the video and sought the explanation from the school.
The authorities stated that the incident had not been denied or confirmed as yet, however a three-member committee had been formed for investigation.
