The latest reports say that three at least 11 people including a Ranger personnel have been injured in the terrorists' attack on Karachi Police office.


Karachi: At least three terrorists were killed in an operation at Karachi Police Chief office located nearby Shahra-e-Faisal, the police said on Friday.
"Three terrorists have been killed," said the IGP Sindh while confirming the terrorists attack on the police headquarters.
According to the sources, at least ten people incuding five Rangers personnel got injured in the attack who were shifted to Jinnah hospital. A Sweeper of the building and a police official embraced the martyrdom.
The sources said that the fight started at around 7:10 pm when most of the police officials had gone to their homes from the headquarters. They said that around seven to eight terrorists entered the five storey-building. The electricity supply was interrupted while the sounds of firing and grenades could be heard even from the reasonable distance. ;
The commandos and Rangers personnel reached the spot besides police contigents to fight against the terrorists.
The headquarters, which is the office of Karachi police chief , is located nearby Shahra-e-Faisal, with Sadar Police station in the backside of the building.
The police said that three floors of the building were cleared while a suicide bomber who was at the fourth floor blew himself up and sound of the suicide attack could be heard from the far.
"A Ranger personnel, police official and acivilian are among the injured," said the sources, pointing out that the fight was still continuing between the terrorists and the security officials.

“My office has been attacked,” Karachi Additional Inspector General of Police Javed Odho confirmed the attack on the police office.
The security officials said that three suicide bombers blew themselves when they thought that they would be nabbed. One of the terrorists blew himself at the roof of the building while two others were shot dead.
TTP claims responsibility:
Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) claimed responsibility of attack on the police chief office. According to the reports, Mohammad Khurasani, the spokesperson of the terrorists’ organization, issued the statement.
The Karachi police office was attacked after the horrific attack on the mosque of police lines in Peshawar on January 30. The militant group intensified attack after their talks with the government failed last year in November
