‘Mirzapur’ actor dies of cardiac-arrest during awards taking ceremony
Shahnawaz Pradhan suffered heart-attack soon after receiving awards and he was taken to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in the metropolitan but he could not survive.


Mumbai: Indian film and TV actor Shahnawaz Pradhan died of a heart attack on Friday evening. He was 56.
The actor passed away last night after cardiac arrest at a program in Mumbai. The final rites for Pradhan were held at Mazgaon earlier today in the morning.
Taking to Instagram, Yashpal Sharma, the fellow celebrity, confirmed the death of the actor.

Pradhan was best known for his work in films like ‘Phantom’, ‘Raees’ and the web series ‘Mirzapur’. In Mirzapur, he performed the role of a police officer.
According to the Indian media, Pradhan complained of severe chest pain and fell unconscious during the award taking ceremony when he was taken to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in the metropolitan but he could not survive.
Sharma wrote, “Today I attended this program in Mumbai… Everything was going great… Hundreds of artists were present but shortly after receiving the award our beloved artist Shahnawaz had a heart attack,”.
“The whole program stopped with the help of the people and the doctor picked him up and took him to Kokilaben Hospital which was the closest but no one could save him and he passed away,” said Sharma.
“May his soul rest in peace and courage to the family.”
The celebrities and fans mourned the death of the actor and offered their condolences to the family.
