Umarkot: In an unfortunate incident, six people including a child drowned when pilgrims' boat overturned near Umarkot.
According to the details, bodies of three people have been recovered and the search operation is underway to find the missing people. Whereas the rescue force faced difficulties due to darkness.
Police officials stated that the incident took place in Kalankar Lake near Dhoronaro village when the pilgrims were returning after visiting Dargah Saihar Faqir.
The officials stated that all the victims belonged to the same family of village Kunhar.
Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif Monday expressed deep grief and sorrow over loss of precious lives in tragic incident of capsizing of boat near Umerkot.
The Prime Minister also directed the concerned authorities to provide best medical facilities to those injured in the incident.
According to the police, six people were drowned when a boat carrying pilgrims capsized in Kalankar Lake.
