Karachi: Anti-smuggling staff of customs seized smuggled goods worth Rs70 million while conducting an operation in Mithadar.
According to the spokesperson of Pakistan Customs, the team raided the warehouse in Mithadar area where the operation continued for several hours and smuggled goods were seized.
The spokesperson stated: “The exported goods include foreign cigarettes, Indian tobacco and flavored tobacco”.
He added that the seized goods were transferred to the anti-smuggling squad cell of Customs, while a case had been registered against the accused under the Customs Act.
