Islamabad: Pakistan has reported 5050 Covid-19 cases and 114 deaths in one day as the third wave of the pandemic continued to rage across the country.

According to National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), around 5,050 cases of coronavirus were reported while 114 people succumbed to the disease in the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll to 15,443.
The total number of confirmed cases reached to 721,018.
As many as 63, 1700 patients have recovered from the disease with 4,143 critical cases.
Punjab
The number of patients swelled to 248,438 in the province with 6,972 causalities.
Sindh
The number of infections has surged to 268,750 in the province, while the death toll has reached 4,529.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
The confirmed cases have surged to 98,301 in the province with 2,618 casualties.
Balochistan
There are 20,241 confirmed cases while 215 patients have died from the infection so far.
AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan
There are 14,461 coronavirus cases in the AJK while the death toll has reached 399. On the other hand, there are 5,127 cases in GB with 103 coronavirus deaths.
Islamabad
There are 65,700 cases in the capital city while 607 people have lost their lives.
